Major Corporation Earnings Calls
Each quarter publicly owned corporations announce their corporate financial status to the investment community. A knowledge of accounting terms specific to the investment community is necessary and can be learned over time when many of these transcriptions are done.
In addition to the financial status of the company, many corporate presidents and other management personnel also update the investment community on other important events occurring within the company - acquisitions, new products and services being announced to the market, managerial changes, patent litigations, etcetera.
